Kuku Predicts Outright Victory For President Jonathan

The senior special adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger/Delta Affairs, Honourable Kingsley Kuku, has predicted victory for President Jonathan in Saturday’s presidential elections.
According to Kuku, who is also the chairman amnesty programme, Jonathan will win 21 out of the 36 states.
The Daily Trust reports that Kuku stated this at the weekend, during a stakeholders’ meeting with aggrieved members of the PDP of the northern senatorial district of Ondo State, at Owo in Owo Local Government Area of the state.
He called on the members of the party in the state, to sheathe their swords and concentrate on winning the state for President Jonathan and the party.

According to Kuku, the APC had no structure in Ondo state, adding that it would be difficult for the opposition party to have the required 25 per cent in the state.
He said: “With the coming together of the Labour Party and PDP, APC is doomed in this state and that is the reason you must not exclude Ondo state from the victory train.”
Speaking on the chances of President Jonathan to be re-elected for the another four years, Kuku predicted that Mr President would win in all the six states in the South-South geo-political zone and five in the South East region, even as he said that four states would be won out of the six stayes in the South-West region.

He added that at least three states would be won in the North Central and three from the North-East, totalling 21 states.
Kuku also stated that the ruling party would not lose hope in getting a minimum of 25 per cent from the North-West.

The PDP chieftain concluded by appealing to the aggrieved members of PDP in the state, who had been sitting on the fence since the beginning of the party’s campaigns for the general election, to forget the past and join the winning train to work for the success of the party in forthcoming presidential election and other elections.
