Every Lady Should Have A Side Boyfriend!

After reading toke Makinwa's book "on becoming" I'm of the idea that if toke had had a back up plan, a guy she could count on if her boyfriend at that time Maje(later ex husband) was in his usual act of cheating then maybe he would have taken her serious and respected her more..

I've been there where I gave my all into a relationship and was very loyal to my guy and yet after 5 yrs of dating he decided I wasn't good enough for him, and left me stranded, it wasn't funny because I saw the signs but like every other girl in love, I ignored the signs and also ignored guys that would or might have made me more happier than he ever made me.

A friend of mine started dating a guy, and she got to realise he was cheating on her, and not only was he cheating but with a girl so young, when my friend confronted him, this guy practically lied and denied everything even he knew my friend saw all the evidences he still blamed her, and she asked me what she did wrong, all she ever did was love and give him all of her, she ignored all guys because of this guy yet he threw her love to the dogs.

Then another of my friend met up with a guy and ohh she fell for his charm, this my friend has had a fair share in the heart break department, her heart has been broken not once, twice and not even thrice. when she chatted me up and said"babe I've met a guy and he loves me with his all, babe he wants to marry me and babe thank God for me" I got to admit I was happy for her and in fact I thank God on her behalf and used her case as a testimony of good things to happen, I tap into her good luck and believe someday I'd also meet a guy who would love me as much as her guy did, little did I know the guy was nothing short of bastard, a guy who makes ladies curse other guys, a guy who is a disgrace to other guys...this guy impregnated my friend and made her father chase her out of the house, with nowhere to go she moved in with him and got to know who he really was, this guy still went after girls, cheats on my friend even in her condition, lodge in different hotels with different girls, and whenever she confronts him he denies it to her face, and in my friend's voice"babe, I'm so scared of him, he lies so much that when he greets me good morning I go out to make sure its really morning", and I'm sure we all know its wrong for a pregnant lady to think, but oh my friend is always thinking and sad all because she fell in love with an ahole and was loyal.

And this makes me wonder is it wrong for ladies to be loyal in their relationships?, is it a bad thing to fall in love and give you her all?, is it a crime for ladies to do all just to please their guys?, and why can't guys just be faithful to their ladies?. and my answers to these questions is just for ladies to have side boyfriends, with a side boyfriends you won't have the fear of the main guy waking up one day and leaving you for another girl, you won't have the heart attack of thinking of what your boyfriend is doing at the moment, and you won't be so involved in the life of your boyfriend for him to tell you you are choking him or think less of you.

Amah Daniel, Youngest DPO In Nigeria, Who Wowed The IGP, Idris

Most Nigerians have this notion of infamy about the police force in the country, and while it isn't solely the people's fault why this is so considering different tales of woe and inefficiency that stains , it is quite imperative to ensure that we announce and celebrate any officer of the Nigerian police who do well enough to clear our doubts.

This is where the story of Amah Daniel, the youngest Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Nigeria comes in to massively impress. He is a police officer with a mark of distinction and we should celebrate him.

Amah Daniel is the DPO of the Bompai Police Station, in Nassarawa Kano, Kano state, where under his watch has been adjudged the best Best Police Station in Nigeria. The impressive tales of efficiency, professionalism and good public relations that have trailed Amah Daniel's touch at Bompai have been so much that it attracted the visit of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, on an assessment tour today, the 5th of December, 2016.

As quite expected, the assessment tour became a commendation tour, as the IGP had lofty words to describe all he saw at the police station in terms of productivity and efficiency. IGP gave high ratings to Daniel and his Bompai team in terms of neatness, crime response and solving rate, public relations, promptness, professionalism, officers' demeanour to work, and even IT savvy.

In his words, "This is probably the neatest, most efficient and prompt-servicing police station we have in the police force at the moment. I am impressed at all I'm seeing here, it confirms what we've been hearing about the leadership abilities of Amah Daniel. I commend him hugely, IGP Ibrahim said.

"He is a young and very promising and professional police officer whose leadership qualities have clearly robbed off his officers", he added.

DPO Amah Daniel is particularly revered across board for his staunch anti-corruption stance, and in his tenure, the Bompai area has recorded the lowest crime rates in a long while, and in tandem with the Federal government's drive to lead by example, DPO Daniel has set a "Change Begins With Me" campaign arm at his station to champion how policemen should be seen as exemplars of such noble drive. This particularly wowed the IGP.

In his mid 30s, DPO Amah Daniel is definitely a breathe of fresh air out of the Nigerian police force, and he should be the face of an efficient, dependable and trustworthy police force, even now that the country aimed at achieving true change at all fronts.

Kudos to DPO Amah Daniel, we hope and believe all police leaders and officers would emulate your
efficient drive

Jibrin Accused Of Operating 5 Foreign Bank Accounts

The anti-corruption unit of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) says it has uncovered five foreign bank accounts operated by Abdulmumin Jibrin, suspended member of the house of representatives.

The sort codes and bank accounts numbers uncovered are Barclays Bank International Account, SC 204744 AC 33471268; Barclays Bank Reserve Account, SC 204744 AC 43707164; Barclays Bank Mortgage Account, SC 204744 AC 94030664; Barclays Bank Euro Currency Account SC 204744 AC 52339433 and Barclays Bank USD currency Account, SC 204744 AC 74521222.

In a petition signed by Ifeanyi Okonkwo, dated November 30 and addressed to Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, the NYCN said 81 Cotswold Gardens, London, NW2 1PE was the address used by Jibrin to open the bank accounts.

The petition, which was also sent to Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC); and Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, called for a fresh investigation into Jibrin over the said findings.

Furthermore, Okonkwo, the coordinator of the anti-corruption unit of the NYCN, said the fifth schedule, paragraph 3 1999 constitution as amended provides that legislators are part of the category of public officers who should not operate a bank account outside the country.

“From the copy of the (Code of Conduct Bureau) form, it was revealed that Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin declared he owns only one house — a 4-bedroom bungalow in Kaduna, which he bought in 2008 for 150 million; furniture of 2.5 million for the N150 million house; one car, which he bought in the same 2008 for 15 million. Meanwhile, he claims in the form that he does not have any vacant undeveloped plot of land, does not own a farm, Orchard or ranch, factory or other enterprise and he also perjured in his deposition that he does not own a foreign account,” Okonkwo said.

“The same Hon. Jibrin Nigerians know in Abuja leaving in affluence is the same one creating a spartan image for himself. How fraudulent?
“Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin owns at least five accounts with Barclays Bank alone with a Euro account, Dollar account, mortgage account, reserve account and international account. All the accounts are functional and he uses them while still serving as a member of the house of representatives and have not declared their existence to the relevant authorities.”

Although copy of Jibrin’s CCB forms as seen by The Cable showed that he did not declare the existence of any foreign bank accounts, he described the claims of the group as all “lies and misinformation”.

“My attention has been drawn for the umpteenth times to yet again another bunch of lies and misinformation by the discredited and so called “Anti corruption unit” of the “Nigerian Youth Council” whose only client now is the corrupt cabal of the House of Representatives headed by Speaker Yakubu Dogara,” Jibrin said in a statement.

“The Speaker has provided the platform of the Ethics committee of the House lead by the fraudulent Nicolas Osai, whose stock in trade is now blackmail and dirty hatchet jobs, to be used by such crooks lead by one Ikenger Ugo Chinyere who was few years ago arrested for robbery-related cases. It is sad that the House of Representatives of the Nigerian people has now descended to such a low and disgusting level.

“You will recall that similar allegations were made by the same group few weeks ago that turned out to be a tissues of lies with the aim of blackmailing me and damaging my reputation. I promptly reported the matter to the police and sued the group and its sponsor to court. It is curious why the police are yet to take decisive action on the matter since the last episode.

“Even as the latest allegations still has nothing to do with my five years stewardship in the House, the question is, why has the Ethics committee or the so-called youth council turned deaf ears on the monumental allegations of 40 billion, 20 billion, 30 billion and 284 billion budget fraud? Diversion of projects by the Speaker to his farm? Millions of naira in bribe collected on 2015 MDG and car purchase in the 7th House, 500 million naira collected by the Speaker and his deputy for rents? 2billion naira worth of house the Speaker built in Abuja within 6 months? 5 billion money laundering as Chairman House services in 7th Assembly, 5 million dollars bribe money collected from a former petroleum minister at the house of a Lebanese business man in Abuja? Massive farm that moved from 10 heaters to 500 hectares funded from illicit funds within months of becoming Speaker? Speaker Dogara refusal to release internal budget of the House? Fraudulent contracts and misappropriation and mismanagement of billions of naira of House allocation after deduction running cost? Why don’t the Chairman Ethics committee and the so called anti corruption group start by investigating the Chairman House ethics Committee himself who has out rightly stolen his running cost allowances. If we truly want to help the country the above mentioned is where to start from.

“On the latest misinformation, the Barclays account were opened long before I joined the house. All the accounts including the Euro and Dollar are dormant with no transaction what so ever as claimed and balance of 1 euro and 1 dollar respectively until they were closed. The mortgage account which I used to buy 81 Cotswold garden in 2009 is non performing and has been in debit. On the piece of land in my village, it is owned by local farmers who are willing to donate such lands so long as it will be used to bring massive development to our town. The allegations are false and concocted to portray me in bad light in the eyes of the public.

“I there fore wish to state that the allegations are an extension of the witch hunt by the corrupt cabal in the House. The motive behind this latest hatchet job in the name of investigating me by the Ethics committee is so glaring. The fraudulent cabal of the House are jittery, knowing full well that the arms of the law is at close length on the strength of allegations of budget fraud, abuse of office and corruption I levelled against them. And of course the international dimension of criminal case against Speaker Dogara and others for creating the monumental scam called running cost which has cost the county about 500 billion naira which my lawyers in London are preparing to file before the Interpol and FBI. The desperation is real and Nigerians can now understand why they have tried several times to kid nap or assassinate me.

“Speaker Dogara has gone as far as securing the services of a former member from the south south zone who has hired private detectives to dig what ever they can find against me. I advise Speaker Dogara rather than waste his money on consultants to bring down Jibrin, he alongside his corruption cabal both within and outside the House should prepare for a long long time in jail.”

Faces Of Kidnappers Who Killed Dangote's Employee

THE police on Tuesday released the picture of three of those who killed a senior employee of Dangote Industries Limited, Istafinus Bello.

According to the police, the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team arrested three of the kidnappers that murdered one and kidnapped five expatriate members of staff of DIL.

The IRT, said to be armed with credible intelligence, between November 27, 2016 and December 3, 2016 arrested three of the kidnappers: Abubakar Gide, 24; Abdullahi Salihu, 22; and Babuga Adamu, 25, in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State; Epe Forest, Lagos State; and Ajase Ipo Forest, Kwara State respectively.

The suspects confessed to kidnapping and releasing all five initial victims after receiving N5.6 million ransom.

They also confessed to kidnapping and murdering the ransom transporter, Bello.

A statement by the spokesman of the police, Don Awunah, added: “However, it is imperative relations of kidnap victim(s) should exercise considerable restraint in negotiating and paying ransom. It is absolutely important the negotiators of ransom should have confidence in the police.”

The suspects were said to have since led the police to their hideout in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State where three AK47 rifles, six AK47 magazines and 160 rounds of ammunition were recovered.

The suspects further led IRT operatives to Apoje River where the body of Bello was recovered.

Awunah said efforts are in progress to arrest other gang members who are currently at large in other states.

He added in the statement on Tuesday: “The IGP admonishes police officers not to get carried away by recent successes but instead redouble their efforts in the fight against crime; and has assured Nigerians that the police will remain undaunted in the collective fight against crime. As members of the public begin the yuletide celebrations, the police will ensure the celebrations are crime free.”

Chris Kwekowe Pictured With Bill Gates As He Turns Down His Job Offer

A 23-year-old Nigerian entrepreneur, Chris Kwekowe turned down a job offer to work as a software engineer at Microsoft, owned by the richest man in the world, Bill Gates, in order to begin his own start-up in Lagos.

The Lagos State University computer science graduate proudly revealed this to Bill Gates during a television interview for Africa’s brightest young entrepreneurs in August 2016.

Kwekowe, who won the 2015 Anzisha Prize which came with a $25,000 cheque, said he rejected the offer to build up his own startup, Slatecube– a website aimed at helping other young Nigerians find jobs.

"When I told him, Gates was intrigued and he smiled. After the programme, all the directors were like, ‘Dude, you mean you actually turned down a job at Microsoft and had the guts to tell Bill Gates?’

Kwekowe founded Slatecube with his brother Emerald, 20, in October 2014. The pair funded their efforts by freelancing as web designers and running a software solutions firm.He said Slatecube seeks to solve that problem by nurturing the graduates through digital internships and so far, Slatecube has an 80% employment rate for its users. Companies that have used the platform, have saved over $100,000 in 2015 by hiring skilled, ready to work employees.

In a Facebook post published last August, Chris narrated in details of his meeting with Bill Gates:
"Oh yeah, I did meet with Bill Gates in Durban, South Africa where we had some candid discussion about everything - from his involvement with charitable causes in the continent, to how he makes time to be a great father for his kids. My favourite moments were watching his reaction after I told him I turned down job offers from Microsoft and the likes to pursue something more defining for me, and how Africa's development depends more on sustainable investments in innovative social startups like Slatecube that solve some of the continent's biggest problems, rather than donating entirely to charity organisations who end up requiring more financial injection to deal with the minutest of issues. Anyways, we'd be working with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to make our value proposition at Slatecube a pan-African privilege. Soon, you'd rather be in demand across the globe, and engage in companies and projects that make you better, and suits your career goals. Nothing can really be better"

70 Igbo Billionaires To Turn The East To An Industrial Hub

Former Minister of Power, Prof Bath Nnaji, yesterday said in Enugu that his company, Geometric Power, was working in partnership with foreign firms to generate 1,140 megawatts in Aba, Abia State to boost power supply to South-east geo-political zone of the country.

Speaking in a forum organised by Igbo Improvement Union, a socio-political pressure group in Enugu, the former minister said the first tranche of the power project, 140 megawatts power plant by Geometic would come on stream in the next six months in Aba courtesy of the intervention of the federal government to untangle the bottleneck that had hindered the project for a long time now.

Nnaji spoke as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Power, Hon. Dan Asuquo, expressed optimism that the perennial challenges facing the power sector in the country would soon be a thing of the past by the time the tseveral sub-stations presently being reactivated across the country come on stream.

He, however, asked Nigerians to be ready to pay “for steady power because uninterrupted power supply is not cheap.”

Asuquo who spoke when the committee from the National Assembly embarked on inspection tour of Mbalano Sub-Station in Isikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, among other sub-stations within the South-east zone, also urged stakeholders in the sector and communities hosting NIPP facilities in the country to work together with a view to creating an enabling environment for the execution of projects in the sector.

He asked beneficiaries of the ongoing power projects across the country to desist from demanding outrageous way-leaves and compensations from government and contractors handling projects in the country insisting that it had become imperative for all the hurdles threatening the delivery of uninterrupted power supply in the country to be cleared.

He underscored the need to clear all hurdles that would militate against the smooth delivery of projects being executed by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) whose managing director, Onyeka Uwa, an engineer, was also in the delegation.

But on his part, Nnaji said: “The project, Aba integrated power project (Aba IPP), the issue that held it from coming on stream is being resolved with the full support of the federal government; the Minister of Power, the Permanent Secretary, President, the Vice President; they are working very hard to see that this thing is fully resolved. Once it is resolved, we think that within the next six months Aba should see power.”

He said his company is partnering with General Electric and Orascom of Egypt respectively to build two separate 500 megawatts

power plants in Aba to bring the total to 1,140 megawatts.

Nnaji said he has bought into a renewed campaign to repatriate the wealth of Igbo people scattered in all parts of the world back to Igboland

He said that part of the effort was the coming together of 70 Igbo billionaires headed by former Managing Director of Diamond Bank, Dr. Pascal Dozie, to come up with a development plan for economic integration of South-east Zone to form the industrial hub of Africa

According to Nnaji, move to attract Igbo business men home was already yielding results when the Chief Executive of Coscharis Group, Chief Cosmas Maduka, heeded the call by Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, to return home and set up Coscharis Farms, the biggest agricultural endeavour in the zone currently.

In a remark, the coordinator of Igbo Improvement Union,  Ugo Agballah, stated that Igbo need to focus more on economic independence than wasting so much time on politics, stressing that Nnaji had spent over $500 million on power projects in South-east, which he said is the largest single investment in the zone.

He said his group would partner Nnaji and his group for the development of the zone.

10 Places In Lagos That Are Dominated By Runs Girls

Some places in Lagos are known to be highly dominated by promiscuous and runs girls, and below are these places.

1. Lekki

Those who are very familiar with this environment will agree with me that it's surreptitiously infiltrated by high class runs girls and can be spotted at exotic places such as Quinox, Pennisuela and Oba Elegushi. Most times, they dress half unclad to buy ordinary "Always Ultra" at shoprite and you will begin to wonder if shoprite has become a strip club.

2. Ikeja

Places like Allen Avenue, Oba Akran, Toyin street, and the likes have reportedly been named the headquarters. Many a times, in the evening, you see them dressed like masquerades on heavy make up, short gowns with sky scraper heels and will be hovering from one street to another just to attract the best of interested chairmen that are willing to transact business.

3. Ikoyi

Ikoyi is one of the most affluent neighborhood of Lagos where you will also find well tushed-up runs girls. The cost of a night stand with these runs girls can buy an acre of land at Ibafo. They're found in exotic hotels in Ikoyi such as Precinct Comfort, Limeridge Hotels, Aries Suites, Upper Class Suites, etc.

4. V. I

Victoria Island is unarguably a land of fortune as it has rich historical heritage. Most of the runs girls you meet on social media are likely to tell you they reside in V. I. The prominence of the town does not only stem from the fact that each time we see ladies who reside in V. I, we are quick to label them rich men's daughters, when in fact, some of them are chronic runs girls under the guise of rich men's daughters

5. Festac

Research and statistics have shown that most of the residents in Festac are people that hail from the Southeastern part of Nigeria. It's also very evident that the larger percent of ladies who dominate this area are into runs and many other vices.
If you are looking for a place in Lagos where every street has at least two hotels, then Festac is one place you should be looking at

6. Mushin

This environment is not really dominated by runs girls per se, but dominated by thugs and local girls. In fact, finding a virgin girl in this area is likened to Atiku's chances of winning 2019 presidential election.. Those who live in this vicinity can attest to the fact that ladies who are born and breed in this polluted environment are prone to early sex and pregnancy as quickle happens almost everywhere

7. Ojuelegba

Ojuelegba is a suburb in Surulere local government area of Lagos State, known for its crowded environment and regarded as one of the places that has the highest numbers of local runs girls.

8. Surulere

Surulere is also one of the most notorious places you can ever raise a female child. However, raising a female child in this area is not encouraging as she might end up as a wayward child. I don't think any runs girl can compete with Surulere runs girls when it comes to tweaking

9. Agege

Agege has one of the largest numbers of female thugs in Lagos. It's very risky to date most of the girls in this vicinity because it will be very disastrous when you spot your girlfriend at Pen Cinema with her goons waiting for men that will take them out

10. Ajegunle

Ajegunle shares certain similarities with Surulere where the residents rank among the most popular ghettos in Lagos where poor and lunatics abound. Most of the runs girls in this area are usually looking malnourished as they're being patronized by broke guys.

Guard Kills Friend, Cut Body Into Pieces And Dump In The Bush

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a security guard, Haruna Abubakar, in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, for allegedly killing his friend.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Abubakar and the victim, a herdsman, whose name had yet to be ascertained, worked on a farm in the area.

It was gathered that Abubakar and the victim were on the farm on Saturday when a disagreement ensued between them. The altercation was said to have led to a scuffle, during which the 28-year-old suspect hacked the herdsman to death.

Our correspondent learnt that Abubakar dismembered the deceased, packed the parts in a sack and dumped them in a bush.

A source, who has knowledge of the incident, said the deceased’s brother, identified as Adamu, reported a case of missing person to the police when the victim did not return home from the farm on the day.

“A police team went to the farm and some persons provided useful information, which indicted the suspect. He was arrested based on the tip-off and he actually confessed to killing his friend,” the source added.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Office, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident.

She said the state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, had directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for investigation and prosecution.

She said, “The command, upon discreet investigation and intelligence gathering, arrested the suspect. The victim, aged 27, was his friend and co-worker.

“They had an altercation which resulted in a physical fight and in the process, the suspect attacked the deceased with a dagger, cut him to pieces and dumped him in the bush.

“The clue gathered by the police led to the arrest of the suspect who later confessed to the crime and led operatives to the scene where the body parts were recovered.”

University Of Jos Suspends Benedicta Daudu Who Was Caught Cheating

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has suspended one of its academic staff who was allegedly caught cheating while writing an examination on May 4, PREMIUM TIMES can report today.

Benedicta Daudu , an associate professor of law and former head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law of the Faculty of Law in UNIJOS, was allegedly caught copying from a prepared answer during an examination for a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences of the same university.

The development was exclusively reported by PREMIUM TIMES on May 21 , frustrating what some staff and student described as a plot by the university to cover up the matter. After the report, Mrs. Daudu’s membership of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption was immediately suspended.

Insiders at UNIJOS have now told PREMIUM TIMES that the lecturer has been suspended from work, and from the masters programme.
“I can confirm to you that the Senate Disciplinary Committee found her guilty of the allegations, and has suspended her from the Masters programme for two semesters,” an official of the university told this newspaper.

“Also, the matter was referred to the Staff Disciplinary Committee which also suspended her from work. So she is no longer teaching.”
Another official of the university said the professor sued the institution over her suspension.
